Jeronimos Monastry, Portugal is a World Heritage Site nominated by UNESCO. Located in Lisbon it is an iconic landmark in Portugal.

Within the Belem monastery is the tomb of Portugals most famous explorer Vasco De Gama. The architecture is Mnueline style laced Renaissance with late Gothic influenced by seafaring images.
The Order of Saint Jerome prayed for centuries for the safekeeping of Portuguese sea navigators.
