Traveling to Portugal is relatively easy by air as there are direct flights to Faro (FAO), Lisbon (LIS) and Porto (OPO) airports. Portugal is serviced by low cost airlines including Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair, bmibaby as well as Aer Lingus and TAP.
Portugal weather
The climate in the south of Portugal is warm and sunny nearly all year round, with little rainfall. Temperatures get hot during the main school summer holiday months of July and August. On the west coast of Portugal the climate is lovely and warm from May to September with more rainfall than the south.

Portugal time is the same as Greenwich Mean Time as it is in the Western European Time Zone (WET).

The Costa Verde is rich from trading and production of Portugal's famous Porto wine and boasts splendid architecture in sophisticated towns. These are complimented by stunning countryside rich with vineyards and a dramatic coastline boasting beautiful sandy beaches.
In the Costa Verde the properties are more traditional with character and substantial gardens. As its name suggests the area is much more lush and green. Villas range sleeping 2 to 14 and as ever the large ones book early.
The Costa Lisboa boasts several well known resorts of which Estoril is the most chic and sizable. Lisbon itself is a cultural treat and there are numerous mansions built with the riches of trade.
