Syros classical music festival, or the festival of the Aegean, as it is known officially begins its eighth year on July 9th.

The venue once again is the majestic Apollo Theatre in Ermoupolis on the Cyclades Greek island of Syros and Peter Tiboris, the originator, is at the heart of the event.

This years Festival of the Aegean runs from the 9th to 22nd of July 2012. Last year the festival received the prestigious award of Best cultural organization operating in the wider region of Grece.
