Running at the moment until 17 October 2011 is the Caravaggio e caravaggeshi a Firenze exhibit which is a tribute to the artist on the fourth centenary of Caravaggio’s death. The display presents many masterpieces of seventeenth century paintings and iconography, among the centerpieces the Bacchus, the Sleeping Cupid and the Medusa.
