Picasso modern art painter born in Malaga villa holidaymakers visit his Museum which was established in the city in celebration of his origins.
Born in Malaga on October 28, 1881 the world famous modern artist Picasso long yearned for a museum to exhibit his works in Malaga itself. The Museo Picasso Malaga was eventually established following the collective drive of Christine and Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, daughter and grandson of the artist, who donated a considerable number of Picassos works to establish the main body of the exhibit.
The Museo Picasso Malaga is dedicated to Picasso and is a celebration of the modern art movement which shook the art world in the early 1900’s and has continued to fascinate and provoke ever since.
