Rogliano is a small hilltop village made up of six hamlets. In the village there is just one restaurant, a post office and the Marie. There is a regular grocers van which sells vegetable, bread and fish.
From the village there are beautiful pathways through the ancient olive groves and from its elevated position you can enjoy views of the coast which has plenty of interest in the form of Genovan watch towers and forts, monastries and churches.
Just 4 km from Rogliano is the Rogliano Maccinaggio marina which is the main leisure port in the area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants there including bakers. You can also hire boats for sailing or windsurfers, even mountain bikes and you can play tennis.
The marine reserve which starts at Rogliano is one of the most important around the island.
The main town nearby is Bastia 35 km and the airport is just south of the centre 50 km.
