Oceanopolis aquarium, Brest, Brittany is a spectacular attraction which is dedicated to diverse marinelife from around the ocean’s of the world.
There are four principal zones. The Pavillon Tropical with 1700m3 of aquiariums where the water is never less than 20 degrees, highlights are glass lift through the shark area and the divers in the tank. The Pavillon Polaire where you discover the eco-systems of the Arctic and Antartic, don’t miss the seals and the feeding of the penguins.
The Pavillon Tempere is devoted to temperate waters including those around Brittany, don’t miss the feeding of the seals on their rocky beach and the dive by the rocks. The Pavillon Biodiversite is the newest exposition and 2011 is the year of biodiversity.
Oceanopolis is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 except July and August when it is open 09.00 to 19.00 (check before you go as they can vary).
