Late villa deals for this summer are becoming increasingly attractive as owners seek to fill the remaining weeks.

Demand has been muted on the continent this summer with French holiday makers in particular opting to stay put, reducing occupancy in holiday accommodation in France by as much as -30% in parts.

Other European countries have been similarly affected as the economic crises rumbles on in Greece and Spain, where although there has been some pick up as savvy folk have discovered that it has become much cheaper to live there, with food and restaurant prices down by as much as -15%.
