The annual Granada Reconquest Festival takes place in Granada on early January to commemorate the recapturing of the city from the Moors by the Christians.
The annual Malaga carnival is a big event held in the streets of Malaga 11th to 19th February 2012.
In Cadiz it’s the annual Cadiz Carnival in February, another big carnival event.
The annual Jerez Flamenco Festival, one of the premiere flamenco festivals takes place 24th February to 10th March 2012.
