In February its carnival time in Alicante. The event is staged each year with the main day being Sabado Ramblero on 13 February.
Valencia is one of the main towns on the Costa Blanca, it also has an International airport. On 15th to 19th March Vallencia lights up its famous bonfires for Las Fallas festival.
Its Valencia once again at the heart of the action in the Costa Blanca when the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe comes to town between 24th and 26th June.
In June the annual medieval market is held in Alicante in the old quarter of the city.
The summer of music in Javea begins in mid July and runs until end of August in and around the old town.
In July it’s the annual Denia Harbourfront Bull Run, the Toros/Bous a la Mar. Denia is a short drive north of where we have our Javea villas and the event attracts locals and visitors alike.
Also in July it’s the Festival of the Moors and Christians in Javea. A carnival like event which brings the whole town to life.
In July – August Alicante stages the annual Musicas del Mondo Summer Festival which attracts international musicians.
In September it’s the annual Tapas tasting event in Javea, held in the old town. Theatre performances and live music add to the festivities.
