Corsican beaches featured heavily in a list of Europe’s Top Twenty beaches published by The Sunday Times, which included three Corsica beaches. The only surprise to us is that there weren’t more, OK we are biased, but also Corsica experts.
Corsica is blessed with incredible natural assets, a wonderful Mediterraean climate, crystal clear seas, huge mountains and a perfect geographic location south of Nice in France and east of Grosseto in Italy. Its biggest asset is the Corsican people and a French governing state which have worked together to protect and preserve Corsica by limiting development, maintaining vast national parks both land and marine, following a sensible water purification policy and backing it up with meticulous cleaning and maintenance of Corsica beaches.Clean seas and breathtaking beaches are the result, long may it remain so and here is our list of top ten beaches in Corsica. There are fine sandy beaches, isolated beaches, beaches with cafes, beaches with restaurants, beaches with Mountain views, watersports beaches, snorkeling beaches, beaches with waves or not, beaches with Genoese towers, naturist beaches, gently sloping beaches, beaches with life guards, beaches with easy access. There is no end of variety, which inevitably renders any list a matter of personal taste, that is what this is, we hope it helps you choosing a holiday in Corsica.
