Alpe d’Huez, Andros Trophy event takes place on the 17th and 18th of December in Alpe d’Huez.
Ice racing takes place on a pre-prepared track and is a spectacular event to watch as the inevitable difficult conditions take their toll despite the driver’s skill. There are two categories both divided into two heats, the Elite and Promotion.
The Andros Trophy attracts the top drivers and manufacturing teams. Jacques Villeneuve is currently in tenth place after his debut event at Val Thorens. However it’s Alain Prost in first place driving the Dacia Duster.
