Tizzano is a delightful village with a tiny port used by leisure craft and local fishermen. There are wonderful beaches at Tizzano itself and to either side of the village. What is fantastic about Tizzano is that it is the end of the road. There is just one small country road from Sartene leading down to the village and from there it goes nowhere so there is no through traffic and as a consequence its a really tranquil spot.

There is a lovely restaurant which generally cooks the local catch (along with more regular meals), it is right on the beach overlooking the harbour. Just next door is an outdoor cafe with a similar aspect and just behind these is a small general store which has all the basics.

Tizzano can be accessed from both Figari and Ajaccio airports.
