Golf in Corsica. There is just one 18 hole golf course on the island, however Sperone golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones snr is one the most exiting golf links in the whole of France, situated directly overlooking the Mediterranean near Bonifacio. There are a number of smaller courses around the island.
Wind surfing in Corsica. The straights between Bonifacio in South Corsica, Corse du sud and Sardinia are reputed for the excellent windsurfing conditions. The bay of Santa Monza is also a prime site and there are plenty more.
Kite surfing in Corsica. Kite surfing follows hard on the tails of the windsurfers and the same areas, the Bonifacio straights and golf de Santa Guilia are favourites. There are many other possibilities around the island.
Fishing in Corsica is very popular indeed. Many like to fish for sea bass from the beach, there is also river fishing and you can go out on the sea in a boat.
Walking in Corsica. Corsica is a paradise for walking and rambling, from Corte to the peaks of Bavella, part of the G20, see awesome waterfalls and fantastic rock formations like the amazing trus de la bomba. There are over 100 peaks which are more than 1,000 metres high and numerous well marked walks for all standards.
Bird spotting in Corsica. There are many nature reserves in Corsica and a number which are particularly good for bird watching such as the reserve near Figari port.
Hunting in Corsica is a very popular pastime with the Corsican locals who have in turn established a number of shoots, some of them on very high class establishments. Challenging terrain and large game such as wild boar attract hunters from far and wide. Wild game forms a an important part of Corsican cuisine.
Horse riding in Corsica. Horseback trekking is a popular pastime for holidaymakers in Corsica with one of the main departure points being from Muratello near Porto Vecchio.
Rock climbing in Corsica. Rock climbing is very popular in Corsica, there are climbing sites all over the island. One of the best at Bavella is superb, the cliffs are fully bolted and the topo clear, there is something for all grades. The views down to the sea are awesome.
Tennis in Corsica. There are not many villas with tennis courts in Corsica but there are plenty of municipal courts where you can play all over the island.
Cycling in Corsica. The coast roads and mountain routes of Corsica are a dream for cyclists though it must be said there are plenty of hills. However families can also enjoy cycling around areas like the lake at Ospedale.
Canyonning in Corsica. Canyonning is a big favourite in Corsica which has some of the most stunning canyons in France.
Rope course in Corsica and via ferrata in Corsica. There are a number of rope courses or acrobranche as they are known locally and via ferrata on the island, the tree rope course at Ospedale is in a beautiful setting amidst the pine trees overlooking the reservoir. Climb, swing and zip around the rocks and trees, adventure fun for all the family.
Sailing in Corsca. The beautiful sea, amazing scenery and frequently good sailing conditions attract sailors from all over to Corsica. It is easy to hire boats on the island and we sometimes have clients who spend a week on a boat and a week in a villa. We have helped arrange mooring for clients with their own boats in the past.
Scuba diving in Corsica. There are diving centres all over the island which is renowned for its crystal clear waters, coral and marine life. Diving from Porto Vecchio is superb, departing from the marina, Propriano is also very good.
Jet skiing in Corsica. What a way to view the island, jet skiing in the bay of Porto Vecchio is fantastic, the sheltered bay offers perfect, safe waters with awesome mountain scenery.
Water skiing in Corsica. The sheltered bays found all round the island of Corsica lend themselves perfectly to water skiing. Water skiers can find water ski hire facilities in most resorts.
