Travel

There are plenty of direct flights into the international airport at Faro (FAO) 95km (takes around 1 hour and 8 minutes by car). There is a good mainly duel carriageway road which runs parallel with the coast from Faro to the west.

Weather

The climate in Praia da Luz is perfect for summer holidays, it is warm and sunny from Easter right through to October half term. It gets quite hot in July and August when its worth having an air-conditioned villa.
