Our private holiday villas with pools in Almancil, Portugal are actually next to each other which can be very useful for two families wanting to go on holiday together. Be careful though as they do book up early as it is rare to have two holiday homes so close together in the Algarve which each have a pool.

The Villas du Monde Almancil properties are located near the village of Almancil, around a kilometre and a half from the Vale do Lobo and the sea. A short drive inland is Loule and to the west Faro which has an international airport.

You can enjoy fabulous golfing holidays from a holiday home in Almancil as well as beautiful beaches all along the stunning Algarve coast.

Travel

Travelling to Almancil by air is good as there are many direct flights to Faro airport (FAO) 12km (about 14 minutes drive).

Weather

The climate in Almancil is like much of the Algarve coast, superb sunshine from April to October with little rain. During the main school holidays, July and August it does get hot, but with a well-adapted villa and a swimming pool for the children play that presents no problem at all. Easter holidays and October half term breaks are possible though probably the best period is Spring bank.
