Travel

With regular direct flights to Split (SPU), it is easy to travel to the Makarska Riviera. We can help arrange airport transfers so you really don't need a car during your stay. It is easy to hire vehicles on an ad-hoc basis and with English so widely spoken, there is no real language barrier.

Weather

If its sun-soaked holidays by the pool of your villa with a stroll down to the sea for a balmy evening dining in a charming restaurant day in day out then this is the place to come. There is hardly any rain here in the summer months. It can get hot in July and August so air conditioning comes in handy at the villa.

From the Markaska Riviera, it is nice to visit the historic centres of Split and Trogir to the north and maybe take a day trip to Dubrovnik in the south. There is an important religious site at Medugorje near Mostar, where the Virgin Mary is said to have made recent visitations.
