In Zagreb the 8th edition of ZagrebDox, an annual international documentary film festival takes place on 26 February to 4 March.
Changing of the guard of the Kravat regiment in Zagreb starts in April and runs through to September.
Summer of culture starts in the Dubrovnik Riviera in June and continues until September 25.
This years Plitvice lakes marathon takes place on the 2nd of June.
The Garden Tisno event runs from 4th to 11th July. It is a new venue for the Croation garden festival.
The annual Dubrovnik festival begins on the 10th of July and runs through to the 25th of August.
Zadar summer theatre program starts at the end of June and runs through to August 3.
Istra Inspirit begins mid June and runs through to 30 September, based around the mystical history of Istria.
It’s folklore in Sv. Filip I Jakov from mid June to 15 September with lots of traditional costumes, singing and dancing.
Park Orsula small music festival in Dubrovnik begins mid June and carries on until September 1.
The Brijuni theatre season starts mid July and runs to 25 August at the Ulysses Theatre..
Izidorovi Ljetni susreti takes place in Zagreb from July 19 to July 23.
Jazz in Groznjan started on 13 July and continues until August 3.
The annual Hvar summer festival runs from the 2nd to 31st August.
The annual Sinjska horseback event is quite a spectacle, near Split.
