Alpe d'Huez chalets & apartments

Alpe d'Huez chalets range towards the larger chalet with capacity beginning with a five bedroom chalet for ten people. We even have a beautiful luxury chalet with a sauna and an outdoor hot tub. All of our chalets in Alpe d'Huez are self-catering and priced accordingly. However there is the option to have a catered chalet on request, at a supplement, just ask for details. We have some fabulous luxury apartments too for six or eight people with shared swimming pool facilities.

The Alpe d’Huez resort is at 1860m and is situated on the south face of the Grandes Rousses range of the northern Alps. It is a resort blessed with a micro climate which means it gets plenty of the sunshine which makes it particularly agreeable for ski holidays.

Alpe d'Huez Travel

Alpe d’Huez is located about one hours drive from Grenoble which has direct flights from Stanstead, Luton, Gatwick, Bristol, Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester with either Easyjet, Ryanair or fly Thoma cook.

Alpe d’Huez has a great blend, lots of easy slopes on the lower levels which are nice and gentle, ideal for beginners and warming up. Then from the Pic Blanc ski lift and the new Les Marmottes III, you can get the adrenaline going and really work on your technique. Plus there is the La Sarenne run, starting on the Sarenne glacier, at 16 km it’s the longest "pisted" run in Europe, you can ski for an hour and a half without needing to get a lift.

For children there a ski school at Grande Rousses from four years old and Bergers from 5 years old run by the Ecole de ski Francais. The Ecole de Ski International takes children from 2 years old and they can ski with them from 3 years old. There are also two "garderies" Les Crapouilloux which takes children from 2, they can ski at 3 and Les Intrepids which is crèche for 3 to 6 month-year-olds. For adults, there is a first class ESF ski school. The Alpe d'Huez ski+ pass gives you access to the whole ski domain.

The high altitude runs are well groomed and nicely linked to offer optimum skiing at Alpe d’Huez.
