Festival Med in the Algarve resort of Loule

Festival Med in the Algarve resort of Loule takes place from the 22nd to the 25th of June 2011.

The 8th edition of the Festival Med, the first music festival in the summer and one of the most respected national festivals of world music. From 22 to June 25, the historic town of Loulé wears the colors of the world and becomes a stage for sounds and tastes, cultural experiences, and a fusion of various art forms.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Seun Anikulapo Kuti & Egypt 80, Muchachito Bombo Infierno and Luisa Sobral were among the first names confirmed for Loulé 2011.

For the BALKAN BRASS BATTLE, Jaadu - Faiz Ali Faiz & Titi Robin, Mulatu Astatke, Hit, Marcia, Frankie Chavez and The Strokes are among the names confirmed.

During Festival Med the Historic town of Loulé is transformed into a stage of cultural experiences ranging from music to crafts, from haute cuisine, theater, exhibitions to street entertainment.
