Eat pray love in Bali is a book and film about the rejuvenation of a person for whom peace, yoga and the soothing charms of Bali were essential.
The book was written by Elizabeth Gilbert. It is a memoir to which a number of mid 30’s ladies relate as a fair few have followed a similar path and many more contemplate its merits.
A shattered life following a tough divorce left Gilbert devoid of energy and direction as well as diminished physically. She chose to head first to Italy, India and then on to Bali for a voyage of physical and mental healing and restoration.
Ultimately it is the peace, tranquility, beauty and calm of Bali combined with the refined yoga and meditation resources to be found on the island which do the trick.
The book struck a cord with the Hollywood moguls and in 2010 it was turned into a film starring legend Julia Roberts.
A villa holiday in Bali is a relaxing, soothing experience in itself and whilst there you too can tap in to the rejuvenating resources the island has to offer.
