The main airports are Barcelona (BCN) and Gerona (GRO) which are serviced by a high volume of direct flights all year round. Flight operators to Catalonia include low-cost airlines Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair and Monarch. The road networks in the area are very good with an excellent motorway running parallel with the coast. The main rail stations are also in Barcelona and Girona.
The area is renowned for its excellent climate. Here you can enjoy reliable sunshine even outside the main summer holiday periods so holidays at Easter, Spring Bank and even October half term are an option.
