Ajaccio Jazz Festival

Ajaccio Jazz Festival 2011 starts this week.

Last year locals and Ajaccio holiday makers alike were treated to a performance by Dee Dee Bridgewater and this 10th anniversary of the Jazz de Ajacciu festival promises to be equally enjoyable.

There will be concerts at the Lazeret Ollandini from the 29th June to 2nd July, the Lycee Fesch on the 9th July and in the Theatre de Vedure du Casone on the 12th July. For full details view jazzinajacciu.com

Performing at this years Ajaccio Jazz festival is the Jamaican pianist Mont Alexander, the exceptional violinist Florin Niclescu, double golden disc holder from South Korea Youn Sun Nah, Richard Bona and Raoul Midon from Africa and the unique Christian Fernandez.
