The river Drome runs along the nearby valley and is a source of leisure in the form of canoe or kayak descents and swimming from the many beaches as well as culture from the many chateaux such as the spectacular one at Bourdeilles, water mills producing walnut oil (Remenon) and Roman churches (Montagrier).

This is a beautiful, natural area renowned for its gastronomie which can be enjoyed at very reasonable prices in the many fabulous restaurants which are found in abundance in the locality, we particularly like the Hotel de France in Riberac for a seriously good meal and the Moulin du Pont at Lisle for enjoyable food in a lovely setting.
