This is a beautiful hilltop village with friendly locals and a charm that attracts many visitors to return year after year. There is a delightful restaurant/cafe with a vine covered outdoor terrace, a general store and a lovely old bakers which doesn't even have a sign over the door.

One of the big attractions here is the mountain bike centre which offers equipment and guided tours of the 250 kilometres of graded, marked mountain bike trails. There is something for everyone and you will hardly see a car, although you will see some hills! 

Just a couple of kilometres down the hill is the riverside village of Tocance St Apre which has a supermarket and comprehensive facilities including a good sized, regular outdoor market. There is a canoe departure point from the camp site at Tocane which covers a beautiful part of the river Dronne.
