Sartene is a fabulous hilltop town with dramatic views of the valleys below. The buildings are mainly stone built giving the town a very traditional look. There is a beautiful central square overlooked by outdoor cafes and there is an excellent choice of restaurants. Sartene is heaped in tradition and thrives throughout the year.

It is around half an hours drive from Sartene to the beach, the nearest being either Tizzano which is located to the south or Propriano which is on the west coast on the Valinco bay.

Sartene can be accessed from both Figari and Ajaccio airports.
