Single bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed) and a bedroom with bunk beds (2 x 90cm wide bunk beds for 2 people, preferably adolescants as the barrier is low), a single sofa bed. Double bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilets. Access to a beautiful, huge terrace with garden furniture which enjoys dramatic views towards Rethymnon and the sea.

The ground floor has a large fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a long table and chairs, a vast, comfortable living room with plenty of natural light. Double bedroom and a shower room with toilet. Double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed) with en suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. (accessed only from the courtyard). Double bedroom with access to the small, rear courtyard with Jacuzzi hot tub.  Small laundry room and access to a nice shady terrace. The ground floor has superb marble floors, there is a great surround sound music system and a state of the art home cinema all powered from a water cooled (quiet) computer. All the bedrooms have air conditioning.

This superb house is set in the traditional village of Maroulas, it has a comprehensive range of gadgets and equipment including a Jacuzzi. The furnishings and decoration are superb, combining the authenticity of the Venetian elements with the many contemporary works of art. The cleaner operates the washing machine on clients behalf. Cook and babysitting service available on request. You need to be careful with small children.

Entry is through an impressive old wooden door which opens onto a small, high walled, flagstone courtyard where the small swimming pool and Jacuzzi (with super healthy activated oxygen system) integrates perfectly in harmony with this classified ancient monument where long ago donkeys powered a grind stone. A small tree offers delightful natural shade, a lovely reading spot. The villa is in the village but is totally peaceful and secluded and is lovely to stay in at any time of year.
