Located in the village of Episcopi in the northern central area near Heraklion, 10 km from the beach. Heraklion airport 18km, walk to village shops and tavernas 300m.
The upper floor (accessed via a few stairs) comprises a Cretian gallery with a single bed (90cm wide) and a writing desk.
The ground floor has a pleasant dining room, a living-room with fireplace (on a slightly lower level) and a fully equipped kitchen. A small corridor leads to a single bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed) and two double bedrooms (each with 1 x 140cm wide beds), a nice bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet, separate toilet with a washing machine.
Recently constructed along traditional lines with plenty of stone and wood, the villa is very pleasant.
The garden is lovely with mature trees including olives and limes and a spectacular bourganvillia by the pool. The flat lawns offer a perfect playground for children along with the swings and various other games available. The fenced swimming pool also has a children’s paddling pool. The pergolas by the pool is perfect for eating al fresco. Children’s paddling area 0.45m deep.
The prices include
The rental of a catagory A car (4 person, Seicento type), for one week (tax and insurance included, unlimited milage) pick up from the airport. Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels provided (not including beach towels), change of linen once a week. Garden and swimming pool maintenance.

Refundable cash deposit €470 payable locally. Heating for the house and fire wood. Air conditioning use is payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.
