Two air conditioned villas (next door to each other) set in elevated, peaceful, countryside each with a private pool and breathtaking views of the mountains. Situated in Philipou, near Vrises, on the north west of the island between the bay of Souda and Almiros, in the Apokorona area, 10km from the beach at Georgiopolis. Heraklion airport 110km, Chania airport 40km. Shops and restaurants in Vrises 3km and Vamos 7km.  Rethymnon 30km.

Our other two villas are set higher up the hill, sharing their own pool.

Accommodation all on one level comprises a large living and dining room with access to a covered terrace overlooking the pool and valley, kitchenette, large sitting room partitioned by coloured glass doors with 2 single sofa beds. One step to a double bedroom (1 x 180cm wide bed) with access to a terrace and a step to a bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. The décor and furnishings are rustic, simple and comfortable.

The villas share a communal pool and a large very relaxing garden which has lawned areas, acacia trees offering natural shade and a built in barbecue. There is a small extra garden with organic vegetable for the guests. The owner has an easygoing horse available for accompanied rides. The uninterrupted view from the pool of the valley, mountains and sea in the distance is fantastic. Overall it is very peaceful in this small hamlet.
