Situated in a quiet and peaceful location east along the coast from Agios Nicolaos 17km, in the north eastern Gournia region, 1.5km from sandy beaches. Heraklion airport 75km. Pahia Ammos village and all necessary shops 3kms. Lerapetra on the southern Libyan coast 17kms. Pyrgos 3km.
The ground floor has a reading room with a comfortable sofa and a small guest toilet. An arched corridor leads to the large fully equipped kitchen with cooking island and dining area, which opens onto the beautiful, sheltered entrance courtyard. A few steps lead down to the vast and comfortable living room with fireplace and sofas and access to a small balcony with fantastic views of a small rocky peninsula. There is a further large covered terrace with superb views.
The lower level has a master double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed – stone base) which opens onto a garden terrace (also accessed from the corridor) with olive trees, garden furniture and a Jacuzzi hot tub (sheltered by a glass screen) overlooking the sea. Twin bedroom (2 x 90cm wide bed – stone base) Attractive, bathroom with tiled, circular , sunken bath with over-bath shower and toilet. Further twin bedroom (2 x 90cm wide beds - stone base) on a slightly lower level. Further double bedroom. Shower room with toilet and a washing machine.
Exceptional, classic Cretian house, built mainly in stone and wood, the atmosphere of this house is indescribable. Both traditional and very original, full of smart details, it is a truly cosy, warm, pleasant refuge with lots of character, nice touches and a great colour scheme. A secluded refuge just between the sky and the sea! Perched on a rocky promontory directly overlooking the Cretan sea, the view on the Mirambello Bay and the small town of Agios Nicolaos is astounding! It is completely quiet.
There is a medium sized garden and courtyard with various terraces overlooking the sea. A traditional oven and barbecue provide all you need in the perfect place to take meals outdoors! Adults or older children may swim and dive from the rocks below the house (steep pathway) and there are beautiful sandy beaches less than 2kms from the villa. Take particular care with small children due to the terracing.
The prices include
The rental of a catagory A car (4 person, Seicento type), for one week (tax and insurance included, unlimited milage) pick up from the airport. Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels provided (not including beach towels), change of linen once a week. Garden and swimming pool maintenance.

Refundable cash deposit €470 payable locally. Heating for the house and fire wood. Air conditioning use is payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.
