Renovated, century old house with private swimming pool and large garden in a peaceful setting in the traditional village of Konstantinos. Located high on the Lassithi plateau region to the south of Heraklion, 17km from the beach. Heraklion airport 65km. Walk to village shops and taverns 50 metres.
The accommodation is all on one level and comprises a large living room with stone built fireplace and a large dining room. Open-plan country kitchen, shower room with toilets. Two family bedrooms (1 x 140cm and 1 x 90cm wide bed in each).
Old style property with traditional Cretian furniture and décor including many antiques. Overall there is a authentic atmosphere of the past. The independent upper floor is sometimes used by the owners at weekends.
Set in a large garden with lawned area, trees and flowers complete with a traditional oven and barbecue and garden furniture made of stone. The village is wonderfully traditional, its rather like time has stood still.

The rental of a catagory A car (4 person, Seicento type), for one week (tax and insurance included, unlimited milage) pick up from the airport. Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels provided (not including beach towels), change of linen once a week. Garden and swimming pool maintenance.

Refundable cash deposit €470 payable locally. Heating for the house and fire wood. Air conditioning use is payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.
