Description
Lovely, recently built chalet which is very well located in the Chamonix valley just fifteen minutes walk from Chamonix centre. Local shop and café 200 metres, Chamonix centre and ski school 2km, ski bus stop and ski hire shop 400 metres. Geneva airport 75km and Calais 896km. Beautiful chalet for a quality skiing holiday in one the best ski resorts in the world.
The upper floor has three double/twin bedrooms (all with 1 x 180cm wide beds which can convert to 2 x 90cm wide beds) each with built in wardrobes and access to a balcony with views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille de Midi and the Bossons glacier on one side of the valley and the Brevent on the other. Each of the latter bedrooms has an en suite with toilet, two are bathrooms (one having a double ended bath (No tap end!) with shower), the other is a shower room.
The ground floor has a bunk bedroom (for 2 people - no window but glass paneled door) best for children. Open-plan living area with three sets of patio doors all leading to a large terrace complete with hot tub and magnificent mountain views. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dining area and a lounge area with surround sound system, television, DVD player and a rustic fireplace constructed by a local craftsman in stone and wood. This floor also includes a small office area and a guest toilet with washbasin.
A staircase leads down to a utility area with washing machine and separate tumble-dryer. The basement floor also has a table tennis table, ski and boot room with boot drier, which can also be accessed from outside via the double garage.
The chalet is just by the ski bus stop and the local train station. Within a few minute's walk is a shopping area with bakery and supermarket, and there are a few local bars and restaurants very nearby.
Located close to the Gaillands Lake in Chamonix, this brand new luxury chalet is built in traditional Savoyarde style, with a wealth of wooden beams and a charming open fireplace.
The prices include Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Linen and towels provided. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas, electricity and wood. Garden and Jacuzzi maintenance. The prices don’t include Refundable cash deposit €470 payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.
