The upper floor has a spacious double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) with fireplace. Bunk bedroom (2 x 80cm wide bunk beds) for children. Two small twin bedrooms (2 x 90cm wide beds). Family suite with a double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) and a twin bedroom (2 x 90cm wide beds) and en suite bathroom. Bathroom with shower attachment. Separate toilet. Sitting area.
The ground floor has a triple bedroom (3 x 90cm wide beds). Triple bedroom (1 x 130cm wide bed). Bathroom with shower attachment. Bathroom with hip-bath, shower attachment, toilet and washing machine. Entrance hall with seating. Large living room with fireplace and access to the terrace overlooking the pool. Small kitchen adjoining a large dining hall with huge stone fireplace and two long tables each seating ten people, access to terrace via French windows.
The chateau is very large with lots of stonework throughout, on the whole it is practical, nothing fancy, which is very good for families with children.
The garden is great, with large lawns offering lots of space for children to play. The pool is set on a lower level and is fenced for security. There is a vast terrace running the length of the chateau which is perfect for outdoor dining and barbecues.
On the whole children love this property, its great for hide and seek, treasure hunts and so on and adults enjoy it too. The chateau itself is very grand and atmospheric in a nice way, in a sense it's a bit basic, but as an ensemble it works as long as expectations are reasonable.
The housekeeper lives next door, on the grounds and is usually available for cooking and cleaning on request, payable locally.

Change-over charge €200 payable locally (deducted from local deposit). Refundable cash deposit €600 payable locally. Heating for the house and fire wood. Air conditioning (where applicable) use is payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking. Tax de sejour payable locally - normally 1€ per adult per day.
