Nestled in a dune this “luxury hut” allows one to live luxuriously in harmony with the environment. Located in a unique, extraordinary setting with superb views in the Sossusvlei region of Namibia in the south of Africa. Kuanagukuangu is the idea place for travellers, tranquil and intimate.
The accommodation is oriented around the central room which has a double bed (180cm wide) which opens onto the valley and allows an appreciation of the amazing sun rises and sets. At the end of this room is a bathroom and a kitchen built around a rock, all blending in. This area, open to the sky offers panoramic views of the mountain chaine set behind Kuangukuanga.
There is tapped drinking water and hot water care of a wood fired heater. Solar electricity. There is good mobile telephone reception.
Set on a vast terrain with no hard construction except for a lodge looked after by friends of the owner who can prepare meals brought to the villa or on a take-away basis. The lodge is five minutes walk from Kuangukuangu but not visible.
The prices include
Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Linen and towels (not beach towels) provided. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity during July and August. Garden and swimming pool maintenance. A 10% supplement is payable on top of the low season price for Christmas, February and Easter holidays. Prices are per week although a nightly rate of 120€ is possible.

Refundable deposit - ask for details. Outside of July and August electricity is payable locally according to the house meter reading. Heating for the house and fire wood. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting. Diner available on request N$170 per person including drinks. Breakfast available N$45 per person. Picnic N$30 per person. Subject to booking in advance from the lodge excursions on foot, camel, 4 x 4. farm visit by car. Airport transfer by private plane to Kuangukuangu airport.
