Traveling to Orvieto is usually by air as there are many direct international flights to Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO) 161km (about 1 hour and 49 minutes drive) and Rome Ciampino airport (CHI) 135km (around 1 hour 25 minutes by car). Rimini airport (RMI) is also an option 271km (approximately 3 hours and 21 minutes journey time). Self drive to Orvieto is fairly popular as there is good motorway access.
