Lifts chalets are those luxury chalets and luxury apartments from our fabulous selection which are within walking distance of the ski lifts.

As anyone who has tried it will tell you walking with ski boots on is no fun although it has to be said it's a whole lot easier with snow board boots. So picking a sensible distance which can be acceptable to all parties has led us to decide on a maximum of 500 metres when defining our Lifts chalets and lifts apartments featured here.

Skiing and snowboarding are amazing sports but it is no fun having to lug your gear and yourself for any sort of distance if you are not actually in action. So there is a lot to be said for having a chalet within easy walking distance of the ski lifts as once you are on the first button lift, gondola or cable car you are basically under way and you can stop sweating.
