The Loire - Atlantic region incorporates the Loire Valley, the Vienne, Charentes, Charentes Maritimes and the Vendee. Inland these are fascinating areas dominated by major rivers and wine growing areas with many fabulous chateau. The coastal areas have fabulous, wide sandy beaches backed by sweet smelling pines.
