In Gubbio the Festa dei Cere takes place in May and attracts many thousands of visitors.
Near to the magnificent cathedral city of Orvieto the night of Luminaries takes place at the end of June each year in Montelone d'Orvieto.
The beautiful town of Todi hosts the Tango Festival each year at the end of June.
The Antifestival event takes place each year in Trevi at the end of June.
The gorgeous lake is the backdrop for the Trasimeno festivale which is held each year at the beginning of July.
The highly popular Umbria Jazz Festival event takes place each year in July.
The Festival of the two Worlds event is held in July over two weeks each year in Spoleto.
In Montone in July you can enjoy the Umbria Film Festival in the surroundings of one of the prettiest villages in the region.
The Water Festival or Festa delle Acue is held in Terni each year for the summer solstice at the beginning of July.
The lakeside setting of Trsimeno is the location for another annual musical event, the Trasimeno Blues festival is held at the end of July.
Umbria is already very beautiful but there are few more magnificent sights than the depart of the Todi international balloon grand prix held in July each year.
