Small complex of sixteen air conditioned coastal studio/apartments with a communal swimming pool. Located in the village of Stavros on the north west coast of the peninsula north of Chania, directly overlooking the sea, 200m from the beach and a short walk from the nearest restaurant. This one bedroom type apartment comprises a kitchenette, living and dining room with two convertible sofas (90cm wide) and access to a balcony overlooking the sea. Twin bedroom and a bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

This small complex of 16 units is set on 10 000m² of grounds just in front of the sea. The grounds well kept and nicely planted and there is a games area for children along with a basket ball area. The fabulous swimming pool allows you to enjoy a swim with exceptional views of the sea. There is a clever childrens paddling pool incorporated into the main pool.

All the apartments have a balcony and garden furniture allowing you to take advantage of the fantastic sea views and see the occasional family of cormorants residing on the rocks opposite which are also frequented by fishermen.

The kind and friendly owners organise a barbecue which they host each Saturday evening. The village of Stavros, where the apartments are located became famous following the filming of Zorba the Greek starring Anthony Quinn.

Nearby is a beautiful beach and numerous taverns. There are lots of excellent excursions around the area such as to Chania, the town which has best retained its old character. Behind the villas looms an impressive mountain butress. The sunsets are wonderful as the sun goes down directly in front of the apartements, over the horizon in mid summer the sun lines up direcly with the end of the swimming pool creating a magical image.
