Located between the sizable, historic town of Vence 2km (which has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants) and the sea at Cagnes sur mer 10km. The hinterland is stunning and you can enjoy both the mountains and the coast from here. Nice airport 22km. The beautiful art village of Saint Paul de Vence is just 3km.
The upper floor has a double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) with super views of the Saint Jannet mountain and en suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. The ground floor has a good sized, fully equipped kitchen with satellite television, breakfast table and access to a covered terrace and a lovely patio dining area with parasol and a huge palm tree for shade. Large, split level (three steps) living and dining room with fireplace and access to rear terrace with table and chairs and retractable canopy for shade. Shower room with massage shower and toilet. There is access via steps to the pool area and garden.
The furnishings, traditional in style, are comfortable and homely and in very good order. Overall the villa is comprehensively equipped including wi-fi internet access and satellite television.
The enclosed garden is a delight, it’s beautifully planted and surrounded by lush trees and hedges which afford considerable privacy. Well laid out there are various distinct and well designed areas from the dining area by the kitchen to the second, shaded dining area by the pool, which is complemented by a summer kitchen with oven, gas hob, fridge freezer and sink. Then there is a nice lawned area for children to play, a super shady area under the large cherry tree which is ideal for a siesta or reading a book, the pool with tanning area on the pool terrace and then tucked away is a table tennis table and away below the pool area a full boules terrain. It’s all very pleasant and relaxing.
