Teu is a gorgeous, air conditioned, stone villa with a stunning infinity swimming pool and garden. Wonderfully located, high on a hillside, commanding fabulous views of the valley below and mountains beyond. Within walking distance of a good restaurant 1km (highly recommended by previous clients – despite the walk back up the hill!) and just a short drive from the village of Figari 6km which has good shopping facilities and more restaurants. Figari airport 6km and Bastia airport 161km. Some of the best beaches on the island are within easy driving distance as is the small marina at Figari plage 6km. The beautiful seaside resorts of Porto Vecchio 19km and Bonifacio 17km are within easy driving distance. Sperone 18 hole golf course 17km. Tennis 6km.
The accommodation is all on one level and has a master double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed) with a few steps up to an en suite bathroom with toilet and a large, circular, sunken bath with shower attachment. Double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed) with access to pool terrace. Double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) with access to pool terrace. Twin bedroom (2 x 90cm wide beds). Separate toilet. Bathroom with large bath and massage shower stall. Spacious, fully equipped kitchen and diner with fireplace. Large living and dining room with fireplace, surround sound TV system and access to the pool terrace. Stairs lead from the living room to a gallery with sitting area.
The décor is particularly attractive as many of the walls are sculpted in pleasing, rounded shapes which add considerable character and is complemented by attractive artifacts. The furnishings are a homely combination of modern and traditional. This is far more than just a holiday home.
There is a nice courtyard at the rear of the villa whilst the main garden and pool is at the front. There is a lawned area, mature trees for shade and a vast, stunning pool terrace with built in barbecue area and a large, fantastic pool with overflow effect. The views from the pool and terrace are stunning and you need to be there to realize the pleasure of opening the doors to the pool terrace as the warming sun reflects onto your face from the pool. There are some fabulous marked walks (you need sturdy shoes) departing from just below the villa which take you over the back of the hill and offer fabulous views of the sea, a lake and the mountains.
