A. Yes we can hold an option for
24 hours except for last minute bookings.

Q. What time can we
arrive and when do we need to leave?

A. The villa is available to you
from 17.00 and you need to leave by 10.00 (unless stated otherwise).

security?

A. There are no particular
security issues but you do need to take sensible precautions, particularly in
the Algarve. Refer to the foreign office web site for up to date advice. www.fco.gov.uk

Q. What is the local
language and do they speak English?

A. Portugese. English is commonly
spoken and you will usually find tourist information and menus have been
translated for your convenience.

villas and the country?

A. We have lots of experience of
Portugal in particularly the Algarve and we can draw on the longstanding
experience of our sister company Villas du Monde who are very familiar with the
Atlantic regions of the country and have operated our villas there for many
years.

Portugal weather like throughout the year?

A. The Algarve weather is
wonderful throughout the year with plenty of sunshine and little rain. The
Atlantic coast also enjoys warm sunny weather with some humidity from the sea.

currency and guideline exchange rate?

A. Euros. The exchange rate tends
to be around 1.4 euros per pound sterling.

do?

A. The Algarve is awash with high
quality facilities and distractions, golf courses, tennis clubs, theme parks
and lots of sea orientated water sports. The west coast has much more cultural
interest including the Porto wine growing areas and there are plenty of water
sports.

particularly good value times to go
|

A. If you are not tied to school
holidays then June is probably best as the days are long and the weather warm.
In school holidays Spring Bank holiday is probably best value although the
weather is less reliable. Easter and October half term are great value in
Portugal.

A. The food is very good and
