Traveling to Bracciano is very easy as it is within easy driving distance of two Rome airports, Fiumicino (FCO) 50km (around 49 minutes drive) and Ciampino (CIO) 65km (59 minutes by car). There is an excellent rail connection to Bracciano including hourly (depends on time of year) trains to Rome centre.

The climate in Bracciano is lovely and sunny, nice and warm from April to October, suitable for family stays from the Easter holidays right through to the October half term holidays. There is little rainfall during this period.
This is a medium sized town with lots of excellent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as plenty happening on the lake inlcuding sailing, boating and swimming.
