L'Amandiers restaurant Mougins is one of the most pleasant restaurants in the Cote d’Azur, set in one of the areas most beautiful hilltop villages.
Mougins is located not far from the busy coastal areas of Cannes and Antibes but it is a haven of serenity and sophistication, particularly in the Vieux village of Mougins which is where the L’Amandiers is located.
The old village of Mougins is perched on a hilltop and enjoys stunning views of the surrounding hills and the mountains beyond. Often from November through to as late as May the background scenery is snowcapped.
You can enjoy strolling through the meandering village streets where you will discover a plethora of small art galleries, interesting museums and boutique shops. There are also quite a few good restaurants and cafes including the recently opened Cave de Mougins bistro which is very nice for a late afternoon drink and tapas.
L’Amandiers is a very attractive restaurant both from the outside and within and best of all there is a large rooftop terrace where you can dine and look out over the magnificent views.
The food is refined and interesting without being over priced, particularly at lunchtime, which is one of the best times for enjoying the views and the whole Mougins village/L’Amandiers experience.
You can also learn to cook in the Cote d'Azur with French cooking lessons at L'Amandiers.
